Hi Guys
Sorry not been on here yet, but, I have been ill the past 2 and a half wks and now been diagnosed with bronchitis, that explains why I kept choking. Luckily I made the patry. Yes what a great night it was, nice cosy venue (didn't get to see anything else except the bit the party took place in lol). Nice to finally meet you Graham, thanks for letting this years party take place in your club, perfect size for the amount that were there, shame the dance floor wasn't any bigger tho as once Ricky got moving there was hardly any space for anyone else ha ha ha. Great atmosphere and yes everyone seemed to be having a ball. Live bands were great too WELL DONE to both. Who let the hooligans in at the end of the night???? You know, the ones that hijaked the mikes and TRIED to sing???? LOL LOL LOL ONLY KIDDING Have to admit it was very entertaining watching all you drunken bums having a good time, HOTDOG 72 (MARTIN) finally got to hear MCE live for the first time, not sure thats what he had expected tho
RE THE RAFFLE
Can I just say a HUGE thankyou to everyone who so kindly bought tickets raising an amazing £200 for STRATHCARRON HOSPICE. The money will go to good use helping treat terminally ill patients at the hospice in central Scotland. The running costs for them is £50000 per week so every little helps, it is very much apreciated. Thankyou so much to SHAKY for kindly donating the prizes (and Paul for arranging it). Yes wee scot maggie got a shout 3x and I shouted 2x, The initial raffle raised £146 then castlailse suggested putting round the tables a pint glass for anyone who wished to give their loose change to top it up which Graham was in agreement with, this raised another £44 and odd pennies. At the end of the night this was topped up to make the £200. I really cant thank you guys enough The money was taken to the hospice on sunday morning, I received a receipt from them, but, they will send a thankyou letter sometime this wk which I will get posted on here for you all to see. Graham, I will also send you a copy to put up in the golf club seeing as a lot of golfing guys contributed to it. THANKYOU SO SO MUCH EVERYONE
