Did you see that the box set has reached No. 1 in the pre-order chart of Play.com ?
I am sure that Shaky will soon be back in several other charts - he deserves it :-D

The upper reaches of the chart are staffed by the usual suspects: Take That, Westlife, Leona Lewis, etc.

So do we know if the 'Shaky' CD comes with a mini lyric sheet? Cos that'd be kinda awesome.

It would because it wouldn't be possible to do anything link a MINI size lyric sheet for 147 songs!

Each CD comes with an inner sleeve listing the band Band/Studio/Producers/Track Listing + photos of the singles. The outer sleeves are true to the original art work and there's 20 page booklet, with a mini biography, Discography, Photos of the albums and singles, plus album information. And there's also the usual credits and thank yous at the back.

Got an email from bol.com(thats were I ordered the set)and its said that the boxset is coming my way!!!Now I am excited!!!

First thing on the agenda is to get them all ripped onto my pc. While doing so I've noticed that both Let's Boogie & Whole Lotta Shaky list the Single Version of ...Eyes. Why didn't they just leave the original album version on Let's Boogie?

Got my copy today and I was very thrilled, but somehow I just can't get the innersleeves out of the outer sleeves (at least 4 out of 10). It's very frustrating and I don't want to destroy the sleeves, but I don't know how to avoid that...........
Does no-one else have that problem ?

Don't know, the album version is not that bad, still better than for example 'A Little Boogie Woogie' (but that's personal of course). I also dont understand why they have included the 'Collection' version of 'This Ole House' on the box set. I still prefer the original version.

Firstly, in the booklet that comes with the box set, it says that The album version of Make those eyes has been replaced with the single version because Shaky was never happy with it.

I like the album version, but to me, it always sounded like an out take or a demo.

I think Shaky felt it didn't sound finished etc etc.

The second point is i had the same trouble getting the inner sleeve out of the packet.

Best thing i found, is to hold the packet either side & gently shake it,that should help release the inner sleeve.

I'm loving the black vynl look disc with the blue Epic label.

Yes I had the same problem getting the inner sleeve out, I was also worried about ripping the outer sleeve. I've found now that I need to hold the bottom of the outer sleeve against me with my left hand on the top, then pull the inner sleeve out with my right hand, it has become easier the more it has been taken out of the sleeve.

I gotta say I never thought I would be writing instructions on how to get a cd out of a sleeve on here!! LOL, but if it save someones from ripping then thats good.

You might of started something here Sue lol.

Do you think there's any money to be made in teaching fans how to get the sleeves out? lol.

It would be near impossible to read all the song lyrics on a sheet that small lol!!.
