Received mine today from tesco, what a fantastic box set!

Well thought out, really informative, and pleased with the quality of the shiny cd cases, also started with Take One album and sound is great too, well done Shaky & team for releasing this in such and well & thought out way!

Roll on 8th December now! :-)

Yep, got mine today now on to lipstick and loving every minute of it, it all sounds so crisp and the whole boxset truely is the mutts nuts!!

Only niggle is getting the inner packaging out without damaging the outer sleeve is a mission but have now got the nack!! gently press right the way along the edges of the outer sleeve then from there its all in the wrist!! like getting ketchup out of a bottle its a case of flicking the inner packaging loose and out!!!

So is This Ole House the version that's on the Collection or the original.?What about Julie on GMYHT,is that the original?
Don't know why i'm asking cos i'll be buying it anyway.

It seems they have used the singles from the collection.

I haven't played GMYHT yet, but the version of Oh Julie on A whole lotta Shaky has differnt vocals in places, like an overdub!!.

Got mine today and ITS BRILL. I can put my cassettes back in the loft now. First disc i listened to was the 12 inch tracks

I can't believe play.com have let me down. I pre-ordered in August and still no boxset - it has been 'packing' for three days now...not happy!

Acording to Amazon mine will not be posted til 16th and arrive 19th It's not good when everyone else is gettin there copy

Same here , i always thought you should have it on the actual release date. Also make sure you get it at the cheaper price because they have a price guarantee,if the price comes down after you ordered a preorder you pay the cheaper price!!It is currently £27.98.

Anyone else noticed? I was gonna put my boxset on my ipod ready for playing in car tomorrow, however normally when iTunes reads a disc it comes up with track names etc, but when I put the "Take One" disc in, it says nothing other than Track 1, Track 2 etc.

Hopefully it will either read it correctly when it's hopefully on iTunes soon (Fingers crossed tomorrow), or I've got a horrible feeling that there is no information on the disc and we'll have to manually type in Track Names etc for every disc! :-(

Ive just ordered my copy of the box set. Cant wait till it comes.

Its brillant! I bought for £ 27.99 in my local music shop.
My favorite album is the bop wont stop. I love the bouns track of "Its Good For You Baby". I cant stop playing it.
