Where in Sweden ? A tv show, or a concert ?
You can't please everyone, so you got to please yourself.

It's great to see Shaky reunited with some of the band from the early eighties. He will be doing three or four songs with them during the show of approximately one and a half hour.
Thank you Roz for the info & Good Luck Shaky,
Mark

How cool that he'll be onstage with Billy and Geraint again after all this time Wish I could be there to see that

Good to see him reunited with some old pals. Geraint is fantastic and played on all those great hits. But I must admit he's always had a great pianist. Back with Ben in the summer! Can't wait.

Thanks for that but I don't suppose you could roughly translate into English?

Hello!!
I will try to tell you about the show in Gävle but I hope you will forgive my bad english. It´s not everyday I practice it....well... Shaky boarded the stage last and started with "Now listen". Then he talked about that it was a long time since he was in Sweden and asked if we recognized this song....and he sang "Oh Julie". Some in the audience did stand up and dance. Then he talked about his new cd - maybe some of you have heard it...or not... he said, and sang " Trouble".
Then after the audince called him in again he sang" Marie,Marie"!
The paper wrote:
- The Audince looked happy in that moment...(when he sang Oh Julie).
-Many in the audince thougth they would never have the chance to see this hero from former times live...
-He seemed to be in first-rate condition and he was elegant in his suit (like a Bryan Ferry without further comparison)
-The reporter also wrote that he wanted to hear more of Shakin´ Stevens material that night. It was wonderful but short...
And I don´t have to say that he was GREAT!!..do I??
